MMU Spotlight - Chan Khan Ling
For the upcoming edition, we will spotlight Miss Chan Khan Ling, the JPA Scholar holder, high achiever, and valedictorian for the class of 2009. Notably, she was the Director of the Inaugural MMU Law Moot Competition 2007. In the interview, Miss Chan shares her journey of leadership, her dedication to achieving the desired goals, and her invaluable experiences in the transition from university to a successful career.

For the September edition, we will be putting the spotlight on Mr. Izzat Sirhan, the Deputy President of the Student Representative Council 2023/2024 and the Director of the Law Trip Division of Multimedia University Law Society 2022/2023. MMU Spotlight - Aaron Abishai Andrew
For the July edition, we will be putting the spotlight on Mr. Aaron Abishai Andrew, a MMU student from the Faculty of Law (FOL) who has accomplished numerous recognitions through his active participation in mooting competitions. Earlier this year, Mr. Aaron has been named Champion and Best Oralist of the Law Moot Competition 2023 organised by the Law Moot Competition Division of Multimedia University Law Society (MULS). Previously, Mr. Aaron won as the First Runner Up of the ASEAN Mooting Competition 2023, the winner of the Malaysian Finals in the 7th AIAC Pre-Moot for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration, and Champion of SAMCO 2022.
MMU Spotlight - Fakhira Najwa
For the May edition, we will be putting the spotlight on Fakhira Najwa, an MMU Alumnus who was the first female Malay student to become the President of MULS in the term of 2021/2022. Notably, MULS has been awarded the Prestigious Award at the annual MMU Awards 2022 through her presidency. In the interview, she talks about her journey as a law student and how she has embarked in the next phase of her legal career. She also gives insightful advice to current law students and MULS members who aim to make a positive impact and achieve similar recognition for MULS.
Student Spotlight - Chua Jia-Tien
We will be putting the spotlight on Chua Jia-Tien, a first-year law student who has outstanding achievements in international-level chess competitions. Notably, she represented Malaysia on the international stage in the 31st and 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games). Adding to her achievements, she boasts a good ranking in the International Chess Federation (FIDE). In the interview, she also reveals her insights into effectively juggling her academic commitments with her active participation in various chess tournaments.
Student Spotlight - Leong Wei Shen
We have Leong Wei Shen, a second-year law student who has outstanding performances in mooting competitions. His team recently represented Malaysia in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, which is the world's largest commercial arbitration moot competition held in Vienna. In the interview, he also unveiled his journey in establishing the MMU Amnesty Club and shared his aspirations to become a human rights defender in the future.
